Wood Pole
Decorative Poles
Drapery poles are usually mounted 3"-4" above the window sill. If a layered look is desired for your window, choose a double bracket that can mount one right in front of the other. You can also use a standard curtain rod with a small projection underneath a decorative rod to achieve this look.
Traverse Rods
Traverse rods are operated by a cord and pully system or by wand pull and coordinate with pinch pleated draperies. The standard draw for a traverse rod is a center draw which can also be concerted to a one-way draw (left or right).
Finial Finials
Decorative drapery hardware completes the window and the room. Finials can be considered window jewelry. They give windows a wide range of looks while coordinating with other elements of the room being decorated. Metal is a more contemporary medium, while wood provides warmth and traditional styles. You might even consider glass finials to compliment sheer fabrics.		 Rings Rings
Rings are an easy way to attach curtains to the pole. They help panels slide along the rod easily while bringing decorative elements to the window. Most rings have removable clips so you can use the eyelet to pin draperies.
Holdbacks
Add another finishing touch to your windows with holdbacks. It's a beautiful way to coordinate accessories and open windows to allow light to flow in.		 Decorative Brackets
Use decorative brackets as a bracket for wood or metal rods, as scarfholders or as decorative shelf brackets.

End caps are an ideal solution for windows with limited wall or window space. End caps also provide a streamlined contemporary option for the window when used in place of finials.   1. Use decorative brackets for towel rings in the bathroom, for brackets on decorative shelving or as a candleholder.
  2. Use any combination of decorative rods to display tapestries or wall hangings.
  3. Attach clip rings to frames with eye hooks and hang on decorative rods for an updated way to showcase photos and artwork.
  4. Use finials as holdbacks at sides of windows.
  5. Mount ball finials across top of window sill and drape scarves across or loop through tab tops for an inovative look.
  6. Use metal holdbacks as decorative towel hooks in bathroom.
